INTERNSHİP
Physiotherapy and rehabilitation is a branch of science that focuses on treatment with non-invasive methods. For this reason, physiotherapy and rehabilitation education focuses on intensive practical training together with theoretical education from the second year. Students are required to take summer internships in the second and third grades, and complete clinical practice courses in the fourth year.
The purpose of the FTR 212 and FTR 312 coded summer internship courses is to reinforce the theoretical knowledge and experience gained by the students in the fall and spring semesters, to improve the skills and experiences gained in their practical applications, and to enable them to recognize their responsibilities, relationships and organization in the workplace where they will do their internship.
All the steps you need to follow in your internship process are given in the internship workflow chart. For more information, please review our university's internship guidelines and our department's internship procedures and principles.
