In addition, the importance of nutrition of both pregnant and lactating mothers in the health of the mother and the baby is indisputable. The changes made in the normal diet in order to reduce the nutritional and metabolic disorders that occur due to various diseases that can be seen in every age group starting from infancy, to prevent their progression and to help recovery are called "Diet Therapy". Diet: It should be arranged according to the age, gender, body structure, nutritional habits, physical activity, socio-economic conditions of the individual and by using appropriate food preparation and cooking methods. Because many of the chronic, endocrine, metabolic and malabsorption diseases that are diagnosed and treated especially in childhood or later, can be corrected with drug therapy, and sometimes even alone, with lifelong diet therapy. For these reasons, dietetics has a great importance in the rapid and effective treatment of both pediatric and adult patients and in maintaining a healthy life. In this direction, it is necessary to continue the technological developments for the production of dietetic products for diseases. These developments will give priority to the production of dietetic products in our country and will prevent dependence on foreign countries.
